What they do
Sarvam builds full-stack AI for India — foundation models tuned for Indian languages, speech and dubbing, and an enterprise platform on top. It was selected under the government's IndiaAI Mission to build a sovereign foundation model and is backed by Lightspeed, Peak XV and Khosla.
What “forward deployed” means here
FDEs embed with large Indian enterprises — the board's posting names Tata Capital, SBI Life, CRED and LIC — wiring Sarvam's APIs into production workflows, tuning them, and debugging distributed systems. Presales POCs are explicitly in scope, so expect part of the role to be winning the deal you then deploy.
