Okta is the public identity and access-management company, and 'Okta for AI Agents' extends it to non-human identities — giving agents credentials, scoped authorization and auditable access to enterprise systems.
What “forward deployed” means here
FDEs deploy agent identity with enterprise customers running production agent fleets: mapping what each agent can touch, wiring authorization into agent frameworks and existing IAM, and managing credential lifecycles. It is deeply technical and security-sensitive, closer to a staff-level architect than an integrations engineer.
